The staff of Nellie Carlson read two books.  The first was "Illegal", a graphic novel about a boy's epic journey to Europe.  The second was "Hello Universe".  Neither inspired any of our readers.  In fact, one was hardly a read at all... more like a comic but with fewer words.   A solid 20 minute flip through pictures.  The other was, well, kind of slow.   The first 180 pages are essentially a diary, with the action picking up at page 220, and ending at page 310.  The reason I kept reading it was to FINALLY see what transpired.  Having said that, it did actually require reading, and despite being tedious, there were interesting pages.  By default, "Hello Universe" moves on.  It will likely die in round two though.
