I had the privilege of reading When You Reac...Yay! I had the privilege of reading When You Reach Me in round one and I am glad others are enjoying it as much as I did. I wasn't sure if the junior high audience would buy into the '70's world initially and the grade six characters worried me, but I ended up loving the book much more than my other choice and had to send it along. I've read both of these books, an...Great post!<br /><br />I've read both of these books, and I'm glad to see that they actually sparked some debate, instead of comments of "What idiot advanced these moronic choices?" I really enjoyed both of these books, and the 3 of you make good arguments. I agree that The Perfect Shot could be the more popular of the two, because the action is more intense, but let's be honest: When You Reach Me is an amazing and subtle book.
